The council executive will decide next week whether to invest £2.1m in the scheme, which they say it's "estimated that this will leverage an overall investment of at least £35million over the next five years from the operator".
In September 2017, Ascensos will launch their Isle of Wight facility, the first UK operation outside Scotland and, once fully operational, will make the company one of the Island’s largest employers.
Ascensos was founded in 2013 and operates one contact centre in Motherwell and two in Clydebank, along with operations in Boxtel, in the Netherlands, and Bucharest in Romania, employing a total of 1,200 staff.
