The leader of the Isle of Wight council this afternoon suggested that skilled workers who are set to lose their jobs at BAE Systems and Gurit should apply for jobs at the new call centre.

Ascensos Isle of Wight
In September 2017, Ascensos will launch their Isle of Wight facility, the first UK operation outside Scotland and, once fully operational, will make the company one of the Island’s largest employers.
Ascensos was founded in 2013 and operates one contact centre in Motherwell and two in Clydebank, along with operations in Boxtel, in the Netherlands, and Bucharest in Romania, employing a total of 1,200 staff.
