The Isle of Wight Conservatives' spokesman on education says only five of the nine Isle of Wight secondary school premises are needed and calls for "radical surgery" and a need to "consolidate our high schools".
Christ the King College was formed in 2008 by the merging of two Isle of Wight faith schools, Archbishop King and Trinity Middle.
Located in Carisbrooke, it formed its own Sixth Form in December 2013.
