Inventing a new way of working with the 19th century wet-collodion process, fine art photographer Honza Sakar, has created an emotionally charged collection of portraits that resonate as artworks. See it at Dimbola from 26th May.
Dimbola Museum & Galleries, originally home to pioneering Victorian photographer, Julia Margaret Cameron, was saved by from demolition by a band of volunteers and enthusiasts. It’s now home to a museum and galleries on the Isle of Wight.
The Freshwater location has stunning views making it easy to understand why Cameron and her husband were based here.
