Gigabit Island

The plans for Gigabit Island were announced at the first Digital Solent on 8th November 2017.

An investment of £35m from Infracapital will result in 50,000 properties on the Isle of Wight securing a 1Gb Internet connection by 2021.

The rollout is being managed by WightFibre Ltd.
