The Bonchurch Community Association has organised a number of events to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Saturday 2nd June
A Village Fete is being held on Bonchurch Village Green, Shore Road. There will be various stalls including face painting, cake stalls, coconut shy, jewellery, knitted items, second hand books, children’s games and entertainers. Freshly cooked hamburgers and hot dogs will be available.
Monday 4th June
Lighting of the Jubilee Beacon will take place on St Boniface Down.
Shanklin Town Band will be playing from 9.45 to 10.45pm. If the night is clear you should be able to see other beacons on the Island and Mainland.
Saturday 9th June
A Country & Western evening with dinner, music and entertainment to be held at East Dene, Bonchurch Village Road.
