Bonchurch Open Gardens weekend will be running this year Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July 1-5pm by kind permission of the garden owners.
This is a lovely inclusive occasion which brings together 15 Bonchurch individual village gardens – some key favourites as well as interesting new gardens.
It is a special opportunity to catch a glimpse of what lies behind the garden walls of one of the Island’s most delightful and charming villages.
There will be plants on sale from an established plantsman as well as a few of the gardeners selling cuttings from some of their favourite plants.
Best Kept Village
In 2019 Bonchurch Village won the first prize for Best Kept Village and this event is a great opportunity to view the village at its best.
See 15 gardens for £5
Entry to all the gardens is £5. Simply buy a programme with map included at any of the gardens or at the hub at the pond and then follow the tour.
The programme gives you entry to all the other gardens which can be viewed over two days.
Strawberry Cream Teas and free shuttle bus
Strawberry Cream Teas will be on sale on Village Road (until 5pm).
A shuttle bus will be running through the village and car parking is available on the Shore Road car park. The bus can be hailed at any safe stopping point en route.
Bonchurch Open Gardens and the village community look forward to welcoming you!
