It’s reported that body parts were washed up on Weston Shore, Southampton on Sunday morning.
Police and forensic teams were on the scene for several hours after the find was spotted by a dog walker.
The Southern Daily Echo report states police have been unable to identify whether the body parts belong to a man or woman, but a post-mortem and DNA testing began yesterday.
A Hampshire police spokesman said:
“Whist there is nothing at this time to indicate this is suspicious, officers will keep an open mind until results of the post mortem are known and whilst inquiries continue.”
