Julie with fermenting beer

Boojum and Snark present their new beers at the Spring Beer Festival

Daffodils are up, crocuses are carpeting the grass so what better way to herald the new season than with a spring beer festival?

To herald in the new season Boojum&Snark have been making some new beers and hope to have at least four of our own brews on tap.

Go-to God for fertility and springtime
One beer currently in the fermenters features the American dwarf hop Jarrylo named after the Slavic God Jarilo who, as well as being a bit of a warmonger, was the go-to God for fertility, springtime, and vegetation.

Jarrylo does not pack the punch needed for hoppy IPAs we are all used to, but has more delicate citrus, wine and green notes, perfect for a refreshing brut pale.

We will also be unveiling the Snark, our pale ale that features antipodean hops Vic Secret, Nelson Sauvin and Rakau as well as Voyage, a red IPA.

The Spring Beer Festival takes place 18th-20th March 2022.
