We’re confused by some of the language used.
We have just seen the full Isle of Wight council cut proposals which have just been outlined in preparation of the December Cabinet Meeting.
Here’s what they say about the Community Safety …
Quite frankly we’ve absolutely no idea what this collection of words below means …
… this area is looking to take a more joined-up approach both in terms of commissioning services and delivery models, with a strong emphasis on developing and supporting community capacity.
We will be looking to work more closely with Hampshire & Isle of Wight Police as well as exploring opportunities for more integrated approaches around both adult and children’s safeguarding.
