Blimey, that Rob da Bank really knows how to treat his festival goers. Not only does he book totally ace musicians and comedians as well as brilliant entertainment for the nippers, but he also makes sure that the weekend is topped off with a grand finale.
We’re told that Rob has plans for a huge Son et Lumiere extravaganza (that’s a sound and light show to you and me) to complete the weekend festivities.
The Camp Bestival team tell us he’s only gone and booked the best blooming pyrotechnic innovators in the country. Known as ‘The World Famous’, they’ll be teaming up with Rob da Bank on the wheels of steel and the English National Ballet (!) to create a whopping great audio-visual spectacle. So no going home early on Sunday night!
Spinal Tap Fans Head to the Big Top
Once you’ve got your tent set up on the Friday and found your bearings within the festival site, make sure you head over to the new Big Top arena to catch the Friday afternoon showing of the 25th Anniversary Edition of the legendary Spinal Tap film.
It’s a classic and well worth watching in the company of others.
In a tenuous link (cue The Folksmen) look out for details of a folk competition coming out later today on VB.
