For those living in the Brighstone or Shorwell areas, there are special public meetings taking place tonight and tomorrow, to discuss the two parish councils’ responses to the proposals for wind turbines on Cheverton Down.
The Shorwell Parish Council meeting is today (Tuesday 24 February) at 7pm in Shorwell Village Hall.
The Brighstone Parish Council meeting is tomorrow (Wednesday 25th) at 7pm at Wilberforce Hall, Brighstone.
Planning documents will be available for examination from 7pm, with the meetings starting at 7.30.
It’s a chance for those living in the parishes to express their views on the application.
