Priory School staged a very successful performance of ‘A Christmas Carol’ at Quay Arts Centre in Newport last week.

The cast included children of all ages from five to 16.

Lynch: Incredibly proud of all the children
The director, Simon Lynch, said,

“I am incredibly proud of all the children. Looking back, I don’t think there is an element that I would change.

“The choir, the dancers and the actors were all superb and I couldn’t have asked for any more.

“I would also like to thank all the team that helped, but especially Mrs Liz Tate, whose costumes made the performance extra special.”

Scrooge

Scrooge’s redemption
The classic festive story of Scrooge’s redemption and his embracing of the Christmas spirit reinforced the true meaning of Christmas and celebrated the brilliant range of talent available in the school.

The choir’s Christmas carols tied in so well with the story.

Characters in A Christmas Carol

The school would like to thank all involved and wish everyone a very Happy Christmas.
