Priory School‘s 16-year-old pupils have enjoyed another excellent year of GCSE grades.

The overall pass rate was 100 per cent, with over 90 per cent of grades at 9-4, which equates to the old A* to C.

Nearly one quarter of grades were at 9-7, formerly A* to A.

In the core subjects of English, Maths (Higher) and Science the 9-4 pass rate was a very impressive
100 per cent.

David Lloyd, Principal, expressed his delight about the results, and stated,

“This is the outcome of two years of dedication and hard work by pupils and staff.”

He congratulated the cohort on their “well deserved grades which form an excellent foundation for post-16 study and work”.

He hoped that they would enjoy “a day of celebration and memory making with friends, family and staff”.
