Residents in the Ryde South area will be heading to the polling stations today to cast their votes for one of the four candidates standing for the county councillor vacancy; Deborah Gardiner; Ian Jenkins; Gary Taylor and Tony Zeid.
Parish Council elections are also taking place in Newport for two seats in each of the wards of Newport South, Newport North, Newport Central and Carisbrooke.
Ryde also have elections for Town Council positions in the wards of Ryde South (2) and Ryde West (3).
Finally, Bembridge Parish Council has an election for one vacancy in Bembridge South ward.
