Cowes Week 2009: Media Students Get Busy

Media students at Southampton Solent University Enterprise Centre are going to be given a great opportunity next week, as they are let loose with filming equipment at Cowes Week sailing regatta.

Cowes Week 2009: Media Students Get BusyWith support from Red Funnel, 16 media students will be gaining real-life work experience as professional suppliers of sports programming alongside the mass of industry experts that can be found at this world famous event.

Thanks to Solent Productions, the university’s dedicated media production centre, the students will have the high spec equipment in their hands ready to capture the action of the week.

This footage will be seens across the world as well as on the event’s official website and broadcast channel (Event TV) which you can view from the screens dotted around the town.
