The temporary traffic lights on Horsebridge Hill near Newport have been removed, say Island Roads.
The lights were in place to allow work to connect near-completed new homes to the sewer network.
Contractors working on behalf of the developer have confirmed to Island Roads that the lights have been removed.
Connection not completed
However Island Roads has also been told the connection has not been completed and the contractors will have to return at a date to be determined in the New Year to finish the work.
