It’s great to hear that Ventnor film-maker David George’s Death in Ventnor will be screened in Southampton this week as part of the Southampton Film Week.
The full length feature film, which premiered in Newport back in April and had a charity screening (in aid of The Real World Trust) at the Winer Gardens in June, tells the story of two robbers from Southampton who comes to the Island and hold up a post office.
The film, which David and the team made in 18 months on a budget of just £2,000, went down really well on the Island, so we expect to read some glowing reviews from Southampton film buffs.
