Gray Collins, who set out to post tweets on Twitter over 60 continuous hours to raise money for an Isle of Wight charity, has broken through his target amount.
He raised £1,200 when he did a 24-hour Tweetathon last year.
For his 60-hour Tweetathon this year his initial aim was to raise £2,000 for the Isle of Wight branch of the National Autistic Society.
Given the strong response in the initial hours of his mammoth undertaking he raised his target to £5,000.
At this moment this morning, the total he has raised is at £5,437.27 – and it’s great to see that people are continuing to donate.
Gray achieved National and International attention for his attempt and is now having some well-deserved shut-eye.
Congratulations!
