‘She Bop A Lula’ is a new photographic exhibition at Dimbola, Freshwater Bay featuring female singers over the last six decades.
Some of the images have never been seen before and are a mix of candid and intimate backstage scenes.
Several are of female performers who have appeared at the Isle of Wight Festival and the photographs, mostly in colour, but some in black and white, show the changing styles and fashions through the decades.
Female photographers
Uniquely, all the photos have been taken by women photographers.
Artistes featured include Debbie Harry, Lady Gaga, Joni Mitchell, Shirley Bassey, Annie Lennox, Florence Welch, Jessie J, Joan Jett and a leather-clad Suzi Quatro.
The exhibition is on daily until 15 September.
