Rob Chuter’s running an African weekend at splendid East Dene in Bonchurch this weekend.
I’ve done one of Rob’s African drumming courses (review _is_ coming soon, honest) and found it very enjoyable.
Well, this weekend he’s welcoming interested all-comers as well as gathering quite a few of his merry drumming band and will also be bringing over the African master musicians; Couleymane, Saliff & Jalle.
Saturday, from 7pm onwards, there’s a evening of self-made entertainment with the musicians leading the rhythmic gymnastics.
Sunday session starts at 10:30, running all day bringing together drumming, song and dance.
Fancy fully immersing yourself? There’s an accommodation-inclusive deal covering both days and a B&B for Sunday lunch all for a bargain price of £65. If you don’t stay the night, the same will cost you £40.
If you can only make it on one of the day, it will be £15 for the Saturday (£12 if you bring food) or £30 for Sunday.
I’d imagine that you’re all feeling stirred into action, so act now (especially if you’re looking to stay there) and get in touch with Rob either on (01983) 853216 or [email protected]
