August may seem some way off yet, but here’s one for your diary if you’re the organised type who likes to plan out your social life before events are sold out.
Electric 80s will be returning to Cowes Yacht Haven at the end of Cowes Week and will be once again transforming the venue for the Island’s biggest indoor beach party.
The event went down a storm last year and is sure to sell out once again.
This year as well as the regular resident Electric 80s DJs, Jakey Chan and Wills of Steel, they’ll be joined by guest DJs for the night.
However, the main attraction of the night will be Wham Duran, who are, you’ve guessed it, a Wham and Duran Duran tribute band – one of the best in the UK apparently.
Not surprisingly, organisers tell us that beach wear or 80s fashion is positively encouraged, so gather your best 80s gear and book your tickets asap.
