Health services on the Isle of Wight are now delivering a life saving treatment for patients in the community which in the past has only been delivered in hospital.
The Training Lead at Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said, "The time and commitment people are willing to give our Ambulance service is truly humbling and we are extremely grateful indeed"
CQC Inspectors found that despite the pressures, staff were dedicated and committed to patient care. The leadership was found to be 'Inadequate'. They have recommended the Trust be place in Special Measures.
The Isle of Wight's Ambulance Service will be supporting ‘Restart a Heart Day’ by demonstrating how anyone can help to restart a heart. It could lead to you saving someone's life.
