Essential maintenance at Portsmouth Harbour will affect Wightlink FastCat accessibility

Wightlink have announced that for two weeks following the February half-term, essential maintenance will take place on the gangway at their Portsmouth Harbour FastCat terminal.

During this time, they recommend that customers with wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams or heavy luggage use either the vehicle ferry service via Fishbourne, or travel with Hovertravel.

The work will be taking place from Tuesday 20th February to Tuesday 5th March 2024.

Steep slope and steps
All customers will board from the Portsmouth Harbour South End berth, which includes a steep slope and a small number of steps.

There will be no changes at Ryde Pier Head.

Wightlink tickets on Hover
The ferry company explain that Wightlink tickets, including Multilink and Season ticket passes, will be accepted on all Hovertravel services, including the Hover Bus from Southsea to Portsmouth Hard.
