The closure of Tourist Information Centres (TIC) by the Isle of Wight council last month wasn’t a popular decision.
Many Islanders wonder if it really is the wisest idea as so many people’s businesses and jobs rely on the tourist trade.
RobThePhotographer on Flickr last week formed a group called “Ex Isle of Wight Tourist Centres” so those with cameras who are near-by a now-closed TIC can take a photo and share it with others.
The history of any building is interesting, but it would be additionally interesting to map the path of these.
