Wight Wave stall at the Celebrating Ryde event

First ever Celebrating Ryde event hailed a success

Saturday 14th May saw the first ever annual Celebrating Ryde event at Garfield Road Methodist Church in Ryde.

This brand new event in the calendar is the result of a collaboration between Ryde Town Council and the Isle of Wight Council designed to celebrate everything that is fantastic about Ryde.

It was an opportunity for local organisations to come and engage with members of the public and explain a little bit more about some of the exciting things going on in Ryde.

“A really good forum to meet Officers and Councillors”
Ryde Society said,

“The Ryde Society were delighted to have been invited to participate in this event and will look forward to being invited to participate in an even bigger event next time.
