The Friends of Frank James Hospital are always trying to find ways of bringing the plight of the historical icon in East Cowes to the attention of Islanders and the authorities.
At the beginning of the year they released another music video. Outspoken campaigner for Frank James, Tanja Rebel, performs her adaption of the famous American Christmas carol ‘We three Kings of Orient’.
Filmed in the grounds of the former memorial hospital by fellow campaigner, Josh Aitken-Dunkeld, Tanja sings the re-named ‘We The Friends’.
Tanja says the piece is “symbolic and a tad ironic”.
She added,
“The Three Kings are visiting Frank James with gifts (just like in the original) hoping to help Frank James re-arise. The last verse, where I thank the Council for “having become wise” is a look into the future, where the Council has become wise and saved Frank James!
“It has not happened yet, but I understand that there is work being done behind the scenes to get some Urgent Works done.”
