Free talk on how to ‘Protect yourself and Others Online’

Isle of Wight Community Learning are holding a talk on Wednesday 12th February called “Protect yourself and Others Online”.

The talk will cover, personal safety, ensuring your pass words are secure, how to prevent companies/government snooping on you, using secure browsers and other useful techniques to protect your identity when using the internet whether you use a computer, tablet or mobile telephone.

Safer Internet Day
This talk is part of Safer Internet Day (SID) is organised by Insafe in February of each year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world.

The talk, which is free to attend, takes place on Wednesday 12th February between 6-9pm at the Adult Community Learning Service, Carnival Learning Centre, Westridge, Brading Road, Ryde.
