From The Archive: Resident Blogger April F. Ool

As you might have noticed, the date today is 1st April and we’ve been having at bit of fun on the blog with our resident blogger April F.Ool.

Pedestrianisation of Esplanade A SuccessApril joined us this time last year, so if you’re a new reader, you might not have seen some of her previous articles.

Perhaps you missed the Newsflash that went out on Sunday 1st April 2007, News Flash: Cheetah Marine Change Plans.

Or maybe no-one told you about how Pedestrianisation of Ventnor Esplanade was deemed a success?

You all know how passionate we are about planning issues on the Wight, so won’t be surprised that we were keen to publicise the fact that Ventnor’s unique vista received protection from the Town and County Council one year ago.

Lets hope he hires a legal team to sue the CP, I think he may well be able to afford it.

My brother used to have a dog, and his vet had an aunt who used to have her hair done at a hairdressing saloon whose owner had a cousin who lived in Pinner

Well this is truly amazing, my daughter lives in Ruislip, I used to go to Ruislip Lido as a child and now I live on the isle of Wight which means I have three connections to this family, does this mean I am related?

Well yeah you should be alright for a couple of million at least Hazel. My brother is well confident of his share, and he just has the tenuous link through the dog, so with your swimming connection and all its got to be a dead cert.
