Google have taken massive resolution photos of famous works of art from around the world and made them available online.
Using a gigapixel camera, the resolution is way, way above what you’d normally expect.
The extreme quality enables you to zoom into the picture to amazing detail.
We had a little play around with The Ambassadors, painted by Holbein in 1533 which you’d normally have to go to the National Gallery to see.
Frankly, the detail is amazing, as you’ll see from this little video we made of us zooming out from the closest detail on The Ambassadors. To get the full effect, run it at full screen.
