‘Green Town’ Public Meeting in Ventnor Tonight Next Wednesday

As VB reported last October, the Ventnor Town Council are keen to become a ‘Green Town’.

The aim of the project is to encourage large scale environmental action within the community and tonight next Wednesday sees the second public meeting take place in Ventnor.

Being held at Ventnor Library from 7.00pm on the Wednesday 13th of April, we understand that representatives from Natural Enterprise (Green Towns), Footprint Trust and Green Gym will be joining in the discussion.

A number of issues were discussed at the first public meeting including Home composting, Adopt-a-garden, recycling bins and Wildlife Gardens.

Get involved
If you have an interest in helping Ventnor become a greener place, why not pop along and share your ideas.
