Regular readers of VentnorBlog will remember a while back we reported on the proposed Guinness World Jetski Endurance Record attempt by Bembridge water-sports dude, Charlie Head.
The challenge was to navigate around the Isle of Wight on a Jet Ski, covering over 650 miles within 24hrs.
Unfortunately the weather conditions since the launch of the attempt back in July have not been in Charlie’s favour, so it has now been agreed that the challenge should be postponed until summer solstice 2010.
Whilst attempting the challenge, Charlie was hoping to raise cash for the The Prince’s Trust and the R.N.L.I.
Never one to be put off by set backs, Charlie’s fundraising continues regardless and details of a charity Wake Board Jam party taking place this Saturday in Bembridge will follow shortly on VB.
