A group of well-informed parents are preparing a challenge to the Isle of Wight Council’s current proposal to close Yarmouth CE Primary School. Governors have invited parents to a meeting tonight (Wednesday).
This ambitious project is designed to breathe life back into Golden Hill Country Park through a host of environmental improvements and new heritage and creative installations.
Cllr Cameron is minuted as stating that Yarmouth Town Council approve of the school closure when it is the opposite. A 1,882 strong petition was handed in this week to County Hall opposing the changes.
