Isle of Wight buses and trains: Come and have your questions answered

Last updated:

This Saturday (29th July) brings with it an opportunity to listen to what managers from Southern Vectis, Island Line Trains, and the IW council  have to say about their plans for public transport in the next year or two.

You’ll also be able to ask questions about your particular concerns.

Range of questions
This is not a “stage-managed” meeting so Isle of Wight Bus and Rail Users’ Group don’t know in advance what topics will come up, but possible questions are the lack of seats in the bus shelters at the new Ryde Interchange; the lack of an Island Line connection off the 21.45 FastCat from Portsmouth; and the lack of a regular service along Perowne Way in Sandown.

The meeting is open to all from 11am at the Methodist Church, Quay Street, Newport on Saturday 29th July 2023.
