The Isle of Wight Festival has been shortlisted for the major festival of the year in the 2024 Live Awards.
It was the sheer number of public votes that resulted in the festival being shortlisted for the award. The next stage will be down to a panel of judges to anonymously assess the shortlist.
Stiff competition
Isle of Wight Festival is up against four other major festivals:
- Victorious Festival
- Latitude Festival
- Kendal Calling
- Reading and Leeds Festival
Each category in The LIVE Awards will be decided by a small, invited number of senior industry professionals, who will score each shortlisted entry against the specific criteria of each award.
The awards ceremony takes place on Wednesday 11th December 2024 at Troxy, London.
