Isle of Wight Festival: Twitter Reaction To Headliners Mixed: UPDATED

Isle of Wight Festival: Twitter Reaction To Headliners MixedReactions on Twitter over the headliners at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival, in particular Neil Young closing the Sunday night, have been mixed since the announcement this morning.

Here’s the rounds up of what’s been said so far (Most recent to the oldest).

Feeling very let down by the Isle of Wight festival line up, so far I have received four emails from people trying to sell tickets.

Neil Young is headlining IoW festival.. I feel I’ve wasted £300 on tickets.. V line-up is sooo much better.. Made the wrong choice.

Mixed, but mostly not happy – so far anyway. It’s highly possible that all of the people who think it’s a great idea either aren’t on Twitter (is there anyone left who isn’t on there yet?) or they haven’t Tweeted about it.

UPDATE: It’s not that everyone is against it – Facebook Group Supporting Neil Young As Festival Headliner Launched.

What’s Twitter?
If you’re wondering what the heck we’re going on about … what the dang is Twitter? What are Tweets all about? We’ve been banging on about it since September 2007 when we covered that year’s Bestival, live from the event.

If you fancy dipping your toes in, you can pop over to Twitter to follow us. It’s a great way to stay in touch with people.
