clay monsters and wight rodeo riders

Isle of Wight museums offer affordable family activities this February half term

Half term activities are on offer at to two Island museums in February.  At Newport Roman Villa, clay days return on Wednesday 14th or Friday 16th between 9.30am and 3pm.

There will be a mythical monster museum trail and an opportunity for visitors to model their own clay monster to take home.

Entry to Newport Roman Villa including all activities will be just £1 per person on these special days. The site will be fully open to explore the historic remains including museum and garden.

If the activity room is busy a kit will be provided, so monsters can be made at home.

Staff will share the story of the famous Isle of Wight Rodeo Riders, who were based on the Isle of Wight from 1924 – 1939 and travelled the country performing incredible stunts on horseback.

This half term entry to the museum is £1 for adults and 50p for children which includes all activities.
