This coming Friday (30th November) Georgia Wyatt- Willsmore from Jam Tarts and Tractors, an Island based company that make Eco-friendly bags, will be opening her studio for some festive bag browsing.
Jam Tarts and Tractors, featured previously with On The Wight, uses reclaimed deckchairs, windbreaks and sunbed fabric to make practical and hard-wearing bags.
Using not only material sourced locally here on the Island, but also material that’s been sourced around the UK, each bag is lined with either cotton or fleece, complimentary to the design on the outside of the bag.
And there’s more
As well as Georgia’s great items, Isle of Wight artist, Holly Maslen, will also have some drawings on sale, not to mention beautiful glass items from Glory Art Glass.
Head to the Open Day
The Open Day is the perfect chance to catch up with some friends, whilst looking at the stylish bags that Jam Tarts and Tractors have on offer, as well as tasting some chocolate based foods, and drinking some mulled wine, just in time for December.
The day starts at 10am and runs until 4pm, at Garth Cottage, Dennett Road, Bembridge.
