If you were one of the many people who entered the Trident Gum’s Perpetual Festival competition, you might be interested to hear who landed the amazing job of reporting back from 30 festivals over the summer for a cool £30,000.
The response was outstanding with 5,000 hopefuls entering the comp and it being whittled down to 10 candidates, ranging from DJs and journalists to advertising execs and stand up comedians.
A couple of weeks ago, George Lamb, Rob da Bank and editor of Virtual Festivals, Dan Fahey put on their judging hats and grilled the candidates.
The hopeful who shone through was 30-year old journalist Katie P, who, on Tuesday 25th May, will embark on her journey to 30 festivals in 30 weeks starting in the world’s party capital; Ibiza at the International Music Summit.
