Islander Kelly Sotherton has suffered back problems leading to her withdrawing from competing at the Aviva International athletic event being held in Glasgow on Saturday, the BBC is reporting.
Due to take part in the long jump and potentially the 60m hurdles, Kelly is taking a safe approach, “It would be too big a risk so I’ve decided to withdraw.” she told the BBC.
