For the sixth year, the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour will be returning to the UK this month.
Although it’s not something that appeals to us here at OnTheWight we know that many Islanders love all things Christmassy and would love to see the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck come to the Island.
The tour starts on 17th November and visits 44 locations across the UK. The closest it seems to get to the Isle of Wight is Southampton on 30th November.
Mainland closer than it seems
However, this year it might be easier than ever to head to Southampton. According to the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour map the Isle of Wight is now connected to the mainland at Southampton!
Do they know something we don’t? Will this be the end of expensive ferry fares? The end of lengthy debates about a fixed link? Or just perhaps a Coca-Cola graphic designer unfamiliar with the UK?
