A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said:
“We were called at 9.18pm on Thursday, October 31, 2013 to a report of a motorcyclist coming off his bike in the Culver cliff area of the Isle of Wight.
“Police arrested a 22-year-old man from Sandown, Isle of Wight at 10.50pm last night (Thursday) on suspicion of riding a motorcycle while over the drink-drive limit.
“He was taken into custody at Newport police station for further enquiries, which continue this morning (Friday).”
