Earlier in the week, we were telling you about how you could take part in a 10,000 feet tandem skydive to help raise money for the UKSA.
Well, the UKSA has give VB a sneaky peeky at the video of one of their own who is doing the jump.
Chatting to them, it turns out that Mick Hill, the 50 year old Housekeeper at UKSA, came up with the ‘whole jumping out of a plane for charity’ lark.
Having suggested it, it’s only right that Mick should be doing it too.
Training routine
From the video UKSA have sent us, we can see that Mick has been putting himself through a punishing Rocky-style training and even eating salad – such devotion.
For taking on this task, Mick is aiming to raise £5,000 for UKSA, so needs you all to stick you hands in your virtual pockets, pop over to www.justgiving.com/skydivinghousekeeper and pledge some money to his efforts.
Beyond that, if you feel the urge to join Mick on the 6 June jump, get in touch with Helen Bournat ([email protected]), but be quick as entries close at the end of April.
If you want more background on it, have a listen to Mick Hill telling allor read more.
