Giulio Cantore playing the guitar

Music for Ukraine: Lineup and timings for fundraising event revealed

The line-up for this Sunday’s Music for Ukraine event at Quay Arts has now been confirmed.

The event is the idea of local musician Jim Thorn who is also the organiser of the Isle of Wight Jazz Weekend.

With the live music running in the Cafe and the Theatre from midday until the evening, Jim’s been in touch with details of who is playing where and when.

The line-up includes Isle of Wight favourites such as brother and sister act JC and Angelina, Brian Sharpe, Damien Paul, The Sharptones, Paul Armfield and Giulio Cantore (pictured) and more.

Raising money for Ukraine
Check out the lineup and times below and remember, musicians are donating their time free of charge so entry is free, but the idea is to raise as much money for Island-based charity MAD-Aid who are co-ordinating the collection of donated items and transport to hospitals in Ukraine and neighbouring Moldova, where many Ukrainians refugees have sought sanctuary.

If you can’t make it this week, there’s another event on Sunday 3rd April.
