David shares latest news from Sandown Rotary Club. Ed
On September 24th Sandown Rotary Club, in the presence of HM Lord-Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight Major General Martin White CB CBE JP, celebrated its 90th charter year. A celebration concert was held at Shanklin Theatre, featuring the London Welsh Male Voice Choir accompanied by guest artists.
Janet Jones soloist singer, Tom Nuckley piano, and Cantobelle, a female close harmony trio, all gave their time, helping to make the event a night to remember for the packed house.
Over £2,000 was raised in order to help Sandown Rotary continue its charitable work on the Island.
