Peter Andre is on the Isle of Wight – and boy is he getting a stack of attention.
Hovercraft arrival
He arrived this morning in a Hovercraft on Appley Beach in Ryde – quite an entrance.
He was heading to Ryde Inshore Rescue, filming for his new TV programme ‘Peter Andre: Here to Help‘, before hanging out with the staff at the Bay Grill near Appley Beach.
There are about eight production crew with Peter, plus his brother and they’ve used The Bay Grill as their base today, munching on Deli fish boards and light bites like calamari in the morning.
Shanklin
Refreshed, he hiked it over to Shanklin, where the scaffold that is being used to do up the Inshore building is based.
We were alerted to Peter being on the Island by Linda ‘Cheeky’ Bassett and sent out a message on Twitter and Facebook, with the updates drawing quite a few comments there.
John Keywood was snapped with him in Oaklyn Gardens, Shanklin after noticed Peter in his Mum’s street. John told VB, “I just popped to my Mum’s for something to eat. I couldn’t believe he was in the road.”
Lunch at Legends
Next was off to Newport and to have lunch at House of Legends. A ton of people caught up with him there, many getting a chance to have a photo taken with him.
Lindsey Mobarak was one of those. She told VB, “Where I am pregnant, he rubbed my stomach, said congratulations and gave me and my friend a kiss on the cheek. All in all he is a lovely, genuine guy that loves his fans.”
As he left Legends Natalie Tobitt, who was in Jacs having her hair done, got a kiss from him!
Back to Ryde
Since then he drove around a few places on the Island ending up passing through Binstead on his way back to the Inshore rescue to be met by a large group of fans who waited for him.
Peter will be on the Island shooting footage until Sunday, so he’ll have an unexpected treat on Saturday evening, when the NatWest Island Games Opening Ceremony carnival style extravaganza takes place in Ryde.
Thanks to everyone who passed VentnorBlog information and let us share their photos with him.
