Police and Crime Commissioner: Public hustings tonight

A reminder to readers that tonight sees your opportunity to meet the candidates standing for the role of Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Prior to elections on 15th November, a public hustings has been organised by the Isle of Wight Association of Local Councils (IWALC). All six candidates for the office of Commissioner have been invited.

The meeting tonight will be chaired by Councillor Gill Kennett, Chair of IWALC, and will be run on the lines of the BBC Question Time programme.

Public invited to attend
Members of the public are invited to attend this meeting in order to hear from the candidates and to question them about their plans for the future policing of the Island.

The event takes place on tonight (Tuesday 6th November) between 7-9pm at The Broadway Centre, Sandown.
