Police investigate GBH after teen left unconscious

Police have confirmed they are investigating the circumstances around an altercation that left a 16 year old boy unconscious.

At 4.30pm on Wednesday (2 July), they were called to Oak Vale, Ryde to reports of an altercation between a group of youths and an adult.

The confirm that during the altercation, a 16-year-old boy became unconscious and say the reason for this is currently under investigation.

We understand the boy was taken to hospital, where he is still being assessed.

Although they have not confirmed whether it was a man or woman, police say one person has been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently in custody.
