Public meeting seeks to explain importance of Esplanade closure following partial collapse of sea wall

The Isle of Wight council are providing a public meeting at St Catherine’s Church on Thursday this week (17th) at 6pm to explain to residents and businesses the reasons for the closure of part of the Eastern Esplanade.

It is important not to ignore the closure as it is in response to significant damage to the sea wall and the damaged area is dangerous.

The Isle of Wight council’s Strategic Manager for the Environment, Natasha Dix, will lead the meeting accompanied by Cabinet Members.
