Don’t forget the Saving Our Heritage seminar takes place tonight at Quay Arts.
Only a few weeks after the Planning Committee condemned the last Georgian Worker’s cottages to demolition, we reckon this’ll be an interesting event and wonder if members of the Planning Committee will be attending.
The seminar has been organised by the Isle of Wight Council’s Conservation and Design Team in conjunction with the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Anyone interested in preserving Island heritage should attend the seminar and will have the opportunity of talking to professionals after the presentation.
The evening will feature presentations from the Architectural Heritage Fund, English Heritage as well as a renowned historic buildings expert.
There are only 130 seats, so make sure you turn up by 6pm to get your free place.
